From Humble Beginnings

Our story began in a quiet Tuscan village, where rolling hills met golden fields and the scent of olive oil and fresh herbs filled the air. In a humble kitchen, simple ingredients gathered that very morning were turned into soulful dishes that spoke of home and heart. Those early moments shaped our belief that food is not merely sustenance, but a universal language of love, memory, and connection.

After years spent mastering our craft in Milan's finest kitchens and refining our techniques through a transformative journey in Paris, we returned to our roots with a vision — to create a dining experience that honors tradition while welcoming innovation.

A Vision Realized

In 2010, that vision became reality. What started as an intimate 20-seat restaurant has grown into a celebrated culinary destination, earning its first Michelin star in 2018 and expanding to a second location in 2023.

Yet through all the accolades and growth, our core philosophy remains unchanged: every dish should tell a story, every ingredient should sing, and every guest should feel like family.

The Beginning

Forken opens its doors on Madison Avenue with a bold vision: to serve ingredient-led cuisine that honours both producer and guest.

2014

First Star

Four years of quiet excellence earns Forken its first Michelin star. Chef Marco Bellini's philosophy of restraint is recognised on the world stage.

2018

The Expansion

We expand our private dining room and launch a dedicated tasting menu experience, welcoming guests into a deeper, more personal relationship with our kitchen.

2023

A New Chapter

A full renovation breathes new life into the dining room while leaving our kitchen and our values untouched. The pursuit of excellence continues.
